Totem carving is trancendental.

Six weeks of hard, outdoor labour culminate in a joyous raising.

The smell of Cedar dust, the taste of cedar chips, the rich reds of cedar grain....

These shots were taken during the carving and installation of "CLIFF CLIMBERS" at Mono Cliiffs, Ontario, Canada.

More than three hundred people helped carve this work.
