More than 150 members of the South Vancouver community helped build 14 "growing sculptures" out of natural materials zip stripped on to steel rebar armatures.

At the time this shot was taken, the finished work from 2002 (shown on the left) was in full bloom.

The work is located in front of the Sikh temple, at Ross Street and Marine Drive, as well as The Moberly Arts & Culture Centre,
