Project Dragonfly    1998 - 2000

CORKSCREW FISH:  by Eric Neighbour

35 Fiberglass figures placed in the community of Marpole in S.W. Vancouver.  Funded by the City of Vancouver Office of Cultural Affairs.

Dragonfly volunteers teamed up in groups of three at Aunt Leah's Studio to build sculptures on the theme of movement.  They worked with wood, hot glue and mixed media to create armatures.  Westrock 90 and fabric paper was used to form a skin over the armatures.   Sculptures were later finished with a layer of  fiberglass and durable epoxy paint.
