"MOTHERBOARD"

Computer parts were
grafted into the wood.

"MOTHERBOARD"

I was asked to create a carving that reflected a symbiosis of nature and science.

During the carving, small caverns were hollowed out and computer parts set into the them - as if the wood had grown around technology.

As I was burnishing linseed oil into the freshly sanded sculpture, a  New York tourist departing the Science Centre, saw my work glistening on its side and exclaimed:
"Such a Chullah!"
